I utterly failed to go to "dominos JP"

I barely watch TV, but I do watch UK panel comedy shows, one of which mentioned Celebrity Traitors. So I watched that, which was very, very enjoyable garbage, while I cooked and did chores and stuff. Joe Marler was an adorable bear of a man. So... Now I'm watching the regular series...

There is nothing like Dorohedoro, and Dorohedoro is like nothing else. Not only in its absolutely bonkers design, but I can't think of any similar narrative either. It's such a gem!

Reading Delano's fantastic Fear Machine arc of Hellblazer. One line in this issue tells us how much of a total bastard Constantine is in the most beautifully subtle way. He spends a day drinking with an acquaintance, whose wife has killed herself, known to the reader, but not the pair of them yet.

The Witcher Season 4 “We have Lestat at home.”

Now and then I read a comic that I was just unable to find anything in to enjoy. And that's fine, not everything is for everyone, I shrug it off and it ends there. Now and again I look it up on leagueofcomicgeeks to see how others felt about it. Never have I found one that has much negativity there.

The Witcher season four gives you nothing. It's been years! I can't remember anything about season three. Watching it with my partner doing "Active time lore" by pausing and googling every few minutes.

Early on in reading new comics, I loved both of these books. They actually both got cancelled, and I still mourn them. Outer Darkness was an amazing sci-fi, where the spacecraft was powered by a captured demonic spirit, and Orphan Age was about society where all adults had died, decades later.

I read both of these years and years ago now, but they're still with me as awesome sci-fi/horror comics. I want to go back and re-read them, but there's too much I haven't read yet, and new stuff coming every week!

A couple of interesting new series debuted this week! Malevolent by @deathorcomics.bsky.social, about an ecosystem of spirits, one of which possessed a foetus and was raised into a new weapon! And Knight City by @mattkindt.bsky.social about a hero who warps reality when he falls asleep.

Maybe my favorite issue of @gailsimone.bsky.social's Uncanny X-Men so far? The story with each of the Outliers listening outside the door, and each given a role in the story was so adorable, and the argument outside showed, again, how excellent Gail's characterisation of everyone is. So good!

Totally taken with @babsdraws.bsky.social's style and these lovely colors! I'm eager to read this one!

There's such a cool moment happening in Marvel right now. @thesteveorlando.bsky.social and Murewa Ayodele, who are clearly massive fans of two of the most powerful women in Marvel, are giving both a huge spotlight and power up. Even cooler, they seem to be crossing over in Storm's book!

Inglorious X-Force#1,every part of this comes together so nicely, writing, art and colors are all excellent, it's at once a bit of a throwback, but new readers can read it. It incorporates both recent Marvel characters and old, then sets up a mystery we know about, but the team don't. So well done!
