Sometimes you reach out to a creator you admire, they reply with kind words and you're glad you made the effort. Don't underestimate that kind of outreach. As a fan, as a creator, person to person. So much of communication is acknowledgement and engagement.

Tapping a button to do something. It's not immersive, if anything, it breaks immersion because I'm extra aware that I'm using a controller and tapping a button to open a door or whatever.

Went in with no expectations besides a fun time from Masters of the Universe. Came away thinking that, with a chunk of it heavily edited, it would be one of my all time favourite movies - And I wasn't particularly a fan of the franchise beforehand. So much fun, so over the top. That was AWESOME!

Bought this album for 100 yen, because how could you not be curious!? It's fantastic!! Female fronted punk with angry English lyrics. She's one of those "Not technically skilled as a singer but sounds fucking awesome" singers.

Avengers Armageddon#1 feels like the most "connected" thing I've read ... Ever? So much other stuff lead to this from various books. It's the only event I've read that I feel like actually, yeah, you'd benefit a lot from a BUNCH of other pre-reading. This is the culmination of a lot of stuff.

Another book from DC that deserves to be an Absolute, but isn't - At this point I think they don't want to make people feel like Absolute line is too big, but they also want to keep bringing new #1s that work as an introduction to characters and aren't the usual "Heroes VS Big bad" fare.

Ya' know I often have the experience that I want to like something, but I just can't or don't. Maybe I really like the idea, or how it looks, but if the story doesn't make me feel something - Intrigued, excited, emotional - Then I can't brute force myself to care about it. I wish I could!

I've been working hard on this project for almost a year! It's been a learning process, but I still love and believe in what I'm doing, somehow. My expectations and hopes have fallen away, but I still want to do it, and I want to try to help it grow some more. To that end, I'm making shorts/Tiktoks.

Lilo and Stitch 626 by Daniel Kibblesmith is so charming! Lilo tells the story of Agent Bubbles in Roswell, since he won't tell her what really happened, but he will interject and tell her when she gets too far off track. When he does, the story and artwork change to reflect it. It's lovely!

The art by @shinolahead.bsky.social in Corpse Knight, with colors by Rico Renzi is gnarly and rad as FUCK. This series looks incredible.

The Sentry#3 kicked my heart in the balls. I would -love- a dog. Love one. And that's precisely why I cannot have one. The simplest of lines hit so hard: "I can't take it." I felt like I understood that feeling of your mind reeling, knowing there's nothing you can do but wallow.

Escape is just incredible. A perfectly cut gem, every facet - Writing, art, colors, letters, all brilliant and shinin'! Can't recommend it highly enough.
