When I was 11-12 I gained access to about 1000 DC comics from this era. A generous donation to a youth center. I was amazed at how prevalent the imaginary tale format was esp. in Superman, Batman, World's Finest. But not surprising considering the pair starred in 10 comics if you counted JLA.
