Turkey Vulture for last month's #birdwhisperer :) I love a turkey vulture. When I think of them, I think of a giant shadow across sun cracked grass, so seeing one peaceful and relaxed on a branch was a fun experience. #birds #art #watercolor 🦉

Elegant tern highway here in South County San Diego. My favorite summer bird. They fly over the beach day & night over our homes from the bay to the ocean to hunt anchovies. We hear them all day long & continuing all night long. Back and forth constantly. Love it. Added a few close ups. 🪶
