Started this piece for DragonCon but I’m really unsure if I want to finish it. I’m reluctant to give up on it bc I love the head and I spent a ton of time on the scales, but the neck definitely needs redoing and the movement isn’t where I want it. Either way, a final look before I drop or alter it 🫡

I had a lot of questions about commissions, so here’s what’s up (thread): - I do take comms but haven’t been able to publicly open them in quite a while due to a combination of being sick for a lot of March, trying to catch up on owed art, and trying to prep a lot of new stuff for conventions.

Thank you all for a great first FWA! Everyone was amazing and I had a blast. I didn’t advertise commissions since I was running my booth solo but I did take this really fun sketchbook comm :)

Having some trouble adjusting to how the colors layer over each other since some colors in the Pitt marker set aren’t as smooth as alcohol markers, but I’m getting it to work for certain things 👍 Did end up covering the original cloak color in black to smooth it out, but fur textures are still fun.

Also bought some new brushes today to feed my delusion that I’m going to paint again at some point

"Prince of the Nine Tails" Had this lying around as a pencil sketch for a while, but wasn't really vibing with the pencils themselves, so I ended up finishing this digitally. What pencils I did have finish definitely helped with the fur texture though!
