For me, this is necromancy headcanon, but the short answer is that anything about your body that you deem "should be there", won't get healed when you try to heal it. (More on this later)

Noire's laboratory/home is deep within the Ruins of Gelmorra, right around Floors 51-60 of PotD. She finds the solitude calming. If she's doing it right, no one knows she's there.

Noire's evil plan is to kill the elementals and destroy the city state of Gridania. Noire is never too terribly far from being a supervillain anyway, but she doesn't have ambitions that people care about, she just wants to hang out with ghosts in her hole in the ground.

She's from Old Gridania, but she has a certain ease around machines that speaks to a number of formative years in a more technologically advanced environment. (She spent her college years in Garlemald) Despite being back in Gridania, she doesn't really think of it as "home"

As someone who plays as a necromancer, literally every expansion that comes out literally validates a headcanon I had. Everytime I think "maybe I've taken my Necromancy HCs too far", a new expansion comes out and says "You haven't gone far enough, actually." I enjoyed Solution 9's regulators. . .

Dying isn't on Noire's itinerary, and she already lives her life focusing on her dubiously legal hyperfixation, so her real plans include bringing anyone with her that also doesn't feel like dying. Noire will just kinda keep showing up periodically throughout the ages.

All of the fun parts about having a Mom friend without any of the things that makes hanging out with real moms tedious.

Writing does not need to be elevated. The constant need to improve your writing will only leave you in a place of perpetual dissatisfaction. Write poorly, write ugly, write purple prose, write self-inserts. Write things that make no sense. Elevation is just insecurity disguised as a work ethic.

There are a couple people Noire knows have very strict views on the sanctity of life and death who she has, in fact, performed necromancy on. She's not sure if they remember, and she hopes they don't bring it up.

Noire has two: "Not dying when she is killed" and "However many skeletons you think you could take in a fistfight+1"

If I had to predict fan behavior. . . Probably Urianger. Noire wouldn't take any issue with that, but surmises that he is deliberately avoiding romance.

Noire is licensed to practice medicine in what is now a collapsed civilization, so her medical degree is really only worth the knowledge it took to get it. It makes her healing magic very precise and very scary looking.

I imagine Alphinaud spent a lot of pre-HW time trying to prove himself to Noire up until the "Character Development" kicked in. She's way out of his league, but he's still her favorite. I imagine Alisaie feels threatened somewhat by Noire. . .
