I quit buying from Amazon 4 years ago. I get better deals on products elsewhere but still have to use their services.
By stopping her purchases from Amazon in 2020, the author could limit impulse buying. But sometimes, you're buying from Amazon without knowing it.

I work from home while my husband goes into the office. It's caused a lot of unexpected issues in our relationship.
When my husband gets home from work, I want to discuss my day and connect. He just wants to be left alone and work out, which leads to fights.

When my son went to college, I obsessively followed him on a tracking app. It gave me more anxiety than peace of mind.
I lost sleep, pulling an all-nighter so that I could track my son's movements on Life 360. When he asked me to stop, I finally felt less anxious.

I drive a Cybertruck, and I'm sick of people flipping me off. I wish they understood how helpful this car is for me.
I drive long distances for my job, so my self-driving Cybertruck helps reduce my exhaustion. But angry people project their hatred of Elon Musk on me.
