Congratulations to Dr. Taylor Scheidl, who successfully defended her PhD thesis last week! 🎉🎉🎉 Dr. Scheidl (@taylorscheidl.bsky.social) is the Thompson lab's first PhD graduate, and she will continue in her research career as a postdoc at the University of Alberta.

Congratulations to Taylor Scheidl, the senior PhD student in the Thompson lab, on her new preprint 🎉 She showed that offspring born to obese dams are more likely to become obese due to more proliferation in early-life adipose progenitors, which leads to higher adipocyte numbers.
