Just a month ago, our friend and ARFO member @wickerbirb.bsky.social was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. Only a few days ago we learned that she made the very hard decision to prioritize quality of life & is no longer pursuing treatment--

I think that one of the biggest problems with WoW Story telling these days beyond themes and anything else is just that WoW doesn't take time to tell its stories. Because it adapts to the patch-raid system it never puts in the effort to tell a story and give it the time it needs.

Something else I've been experiencing on WoW recently: Sometimes when I am whispering someone, the messages just suddenly stop appearing. They still send! You can track the conversation in addons like Elephant, but in the normal UI you can't. Anyone else experience this?

I had commissioned an artist back in 2022, and they had finished the sketch of the commission and then ghosted me. To this day they haven't posted since I made that commission. I'm sad I didn't get the finished art but... I hope they are okay? It's a little worrying.
