My mum died back in 2012, and for a long time after she died I still had that urge to text her something or call about something I'd seen. That feeling has mostly gone, until I saw this on facebook and my first thought was "I need to show this to Mum!"

We got a dog recently and she's a gorgeous lurcher called Stella ✨😍 We adopted her from the kennels she'd spent most of her 3 1/2 years in. She gives the best cuddles and she's definitely filled a void

I have completed my second mini build. Made this one much faster but it was a much more fiddly project and more went wrong in the areas with thinner wood, but I have hopefully done enough to patch it up (and helped to keep gorilla glue in business)

Spent last weekend in the area I grew up in, and spent a lovely afternoon in Runnymede. I grew up in Maidenhead and passed Runnymede constantly, but never really knew anything about Magna Carta until I was in my 20s and all I knew about this field was the patch of land that was linked to America 🤷🏻‍♀️

Today marks 12 years since my Mum died. She was horribly ill for so long and she put up the most incredible fight. I miss her so much and I still haven't found what "works" for me when it comes to anniversaries and birthdays.

Today's adventure has involved raiding Hobby Craft of their Halloween sale items. Each thing was 50p, so I was in Halloween and bargain heaven. Also, these will now be referred to as home decor and not a seasonal decoration 🎃

A lovely Saturday! A nearby library has been having a book sale, so I was able to pick up a few books that caught my eye. And collected a new coffee machine this afternoon!

Today I have made a long standing dream come true, and bought a Christmas scene christmas decoration! I'll leave the music feature off, though.
