It's a month until Christmas and I have a present for the horror fans! Amissis Liberis is a Victorian-era horror novella revolving around two families, and a year that will change everything. Fantastic for fans of Gothic horror and Mike Flanagan. You know where to look for it.

Working on the dual novella project, INTERMISSION is a sort of cross between Janice Hallett's The Appeal and Paul Tremblay's A Head Full of Ghosts. THE GOOD SHIP VERDEN is much more Misery x Midsommar though.

Lost all hyperfocus for the new book this morning and have now convinced myself that it's the worst thing I've ever written. Worst 180 I could have done.

Decided to push myself and finished chapter 4 as well. This book feels like it is just pouring out of my brain!

Such a great opportunity! Holmes is such a fantastic, generous writer, and this book is a lot of fun!

The Floating Castle is SO much fun, would highly recommend for any fantasy fans!

Newest chapter written in about 3 hours! Epistolary writing seems to work quite well for my brain.

Finished the new novella! This one felt awful to try and pull out of my brain, but it's so satisfying to reread and realise it was nowhere as bad as I thought it was. Now to start working on the dual novella project for my Masters course!
