Perks of living in the northeast: I just booked my mom a flight to New York (where she has never been). I’ll meet her there for a day in NY before taking the train back to CT and then driving to Ohio for the holidays a day or so later. I’m really looking forward to it.

Cat rescue run tonight. Meet Elrond. Trapped in a parking lot at the dorms. I am so grateful to the Cat Club for triangulating location and managing foot traffic while I trapped this sweet kitty.

We can't hire graders until they're sure enrollment will be high enough... then the usual slow paperwork..... I am about 100 papers deep in grading... thankfully the end is in sight.

Today I met with the local community college... they're launching a cat program like the one at our university. I'm so glad our model is helping cats in other places too. This is Baxter. He is not so patiently waiting for his canned Friskees.
