Genuinely, I think employers think Independent Contractors are idiots. The funny thing is, they probably have way more education and life experience than the employers.

When I saw Jameson’s story, I think my world shattered. My soul is my dogs; and, I also desire a life in which I may be vulnerable again. Seeing people who are supposed to protect others kill such an innocent being, literally, crushed me. I hope the family recovers as best they can.

As some of you know, I did start a GoFundMe for the woman whose dog was shot by the cops. I realized there could be issues. I do not know her, personally, and I am not sure how I could ensure she would get the funds. If you know of any fundraising sites for her, please share them.

Don’t know if it’s true but I read the neighbor thought a woman was in danger and that’s why they called 911. The fact that the LAPD sent 20 officers and a helicopter is beyond ridiculous and is on them. Whoever shot the dog should be fired, and I really hope the puppy’s owner sues the LAPD.
