Anybody have any information on acquiring a replacement vehicle? Namely something with a little ground clearance (higher than a sedan) but with storage space enough to haul an SWR Super Redhead amplifier maybe but not overkill in the huge department? Or anybody info on how to go about this?

Okay, I've felt my self confidence in doing much of anything else than being a church musician and just surviving day to day, get knocked down a couple of pegs. Managed to have some stuff happen yesterday that is noteworthy. Managed to record video of me at work, doing my thing as usual music wise. Sound is okay-ish but it's a thing (19 videos total). My camera film was developed and scanned. Found 3 pics of my mom in there and ordered 3 prints of one.

After this morning's craziness here at my end, I gave this a listen and felt like a lot of it started to melt away. Totally needed. ^..^

I have finally returned after disconnecting from my sona for like 3 days after a load of bs I was subjected to. As such, I am going to make this known. If you are thinking of bs'ing me, move on. Not having anymore of this ill treatment and such. Just no.....Now to catch up on a few things.

Welp, it's official now. My mom has officially passed away just a little bit ago.....Such ends a big part of my past life and I guess.......begins the new and unknown parts now......

I think I am going to have to go silent for a while. Too much happening way too fast on my end and I am pretty badly worn down at this point.

Only real update to report in right now, certain members of my mom's side of the family are already turning into the snakes in the grass trying to pull shit and spew shit behind my back. None of this surprises me. Uncle came yesterday to do just one thing and he started going overboard. Only.....

Well this is a thing.....Randomly started going through my wardrobe in my bedroom earlier and came across something I haven't seen in years. Thought it was discarded but it's here....if you don't know what this is, it's from a brass ring game that used to exist here.

Going on a hiatus, possibly indefinitely. I will be around but responses will be limited at best. That is all.

Today was pretty productive. Got storage unit stuff going. Only put two things in there so far but I got that done. Got 3 junk tv's and old electronics out for recycling. Ran other errands through till 1 pm. Felt good, till I reported to the hospital. All I can say is minimal improvement with mom.

Welp, mom is back in the hospital again and yet again, I find myself stuck in the ER waiting room, just waiting to get and relay any further information. Right now, it doesn't feel like she has too long, but I cannot say I know for sure at this time. Stuff is all too hellish right now. ~_~

Finally got a break for a bit after hours of sheer insanity. Still much work to be done but I am still here...

Okay so major life update here. Mom was recently hospitalized and released to come home. Was hoping for better cards than the hand I was dealt but, it looks like I am at a turning point in my life. Mom was diagnosed with a rare yet aggressive form of cancer. The news was confirmed last week.

Update on job, I still retain my position. However, it's basically still on life support. First half of shift went fine until organist switched places with other musician. Everything just started going downhill from there. I think after this Sunday (depending what happens), I will step back.

Welp, this is an interesting conundrum for me. During this week, I received a call from my cousin regarding the insanity that was "work" last Sunday. I know he is fed up with the goings on there and well, he has allowed certain things music staff wise to occur that I cannot determine if just on....

Welp, I did a thing today. I pulled the fuse out of my amplifier after finishing my shift at work today. It's now an 80 lb paperweight. May have rehearsal to attend on Wednesday and work next Sunday but pfffft, not bothering to go in for either for like a span of a week, maybe more.

Okay so yesterday was interesting to say the least. Managed to finally test my hunch. For the first time in over 13 years, I willingly took mom out on a non-essential drive to a place she hasn't been to since before covid.

Another day at play, nothing majorly new to report. Back sitting in car and did a test with my Bluetooth adapter thingy. Seems I can use it to listen to more than just phone calls on my phone. This is promising. Will probably make heavy use of that tomorrow.

Welp, I did a thing today. Not much of a thing but a thing. Just been sitting in the car with the windows down, listen to music from all different eras from my phone, still letting my mind wander. Was too nice to stay confined in the house as usual. Watching the clouds and wishing it would rain.

Finished my shift. Sermon had only one thing in it I actually gave a shit about. Preacher basically said the obvious. "People need to learn how to be kind to each other...". I could go on about this but I finally made it home. Re-edited and corrected for typing errors due to being in transit home.

Life update: Welp this month is well beyond toast. But I guess since about Wednesday, I should have seen the signs at latest by then that everything was literally falling apart. Had a lot of stuff happen this past week and by the end of it, I feel beyond spent. Won't go into details about that but..

I think it's well beyond time for me to step back from things for a bit. Things have been insane still and the demands placed up on me as of late have run me into the ground. Long story short, neighbor's husband had a medical emergency on Valentine's Day. Rushed and dealt with that.

Quick new personal update. Mom is out of hospital and gradually on her way to getting better. That crisis is almost over. Latest stuff to go down is that after today, I may be out of a job. At work now waiting to see how far the organist and his wife want to escalate things before I walk.

Major update on things here at my end....I am tired and badly worn out. Things have really been going in a downhill spiral at my end since as early as mid-December to present day. Seems like all most people want out of me is stuff they want or need at any given time lately.

Latest update on things, the exam I was to take last night was postponed so that at least affords me a little extra study time. It's getting near Thanksgiving and I know it's getting near time to send cards out too. Might not send out as many this year but will see. Otherwise business as usual.

Welp, tomorrow evening is when my ham radio exam is scheduled to be taken. Feeling pretty nervous about it honestly as I have attended all but one class due to being pushed to physical exhaustion. Feeling pretty nervous about it. Will see what happens once I take it.

Well today sucked. Took car to the wash and the rear driver's side door literally snapped it's stopper arm thingy. Almost caused a serious backup there. Got door shut and went to work afterwards to be subjected to loads more bs of people wanting stuff and rushing me to go through closing procedures

Welp I can say I am feeling pretty good today. Had my second study course for the technician's ham license exam last night and I didn't do bad thusfar. Working on stuff to mail to friends which has me pretty stoked too. Hope everybody else is having a good day. ^..^
