‘The New World of Work’ — joint event of Horizon Europe sister projects 🌍 On 6 May, together with FUTOURWORK, EGRUiEN and INTEGRATE-DIALOGUE, we co-organised an international webinar on the future of platform work, workers’ rights, and the EU Platform Work Directive.

As part of Work Package 1, E-GRUiEN develops a diversity and gender equality plan. This plan includes a description of the diversity and gender equality measures that will be applied in all project activities. 🔎 An important element of the Egruien project is in-depth sectoral analysis. As part of Work Package 2, we analyse national historical case studies and use them to develop a theoretical framework.

Meet Dr. Kairit Kall leading the Tallinn University (TLU) team in our project. Dr. Kairit Kall is a sociologist of work and lecturer in sociology at Tallinn University, based at the Institute of International Social Studies.

For the first time ever, solar energy became the EU’s top electricity source in June 2025, generating 22.1% of all power – more than nuclear and fossil fuels. This shift helped Europe handle heatwave-driven energy demand while slashing coal use to an all-time low of just 6.1%. imup.cc/PONkoD
