So good 🥹 For a mostly whole wheat sourdough with sunflower seeds, pecans, flax, cracked wheat and rye, and whole oats... it's very light and smooshy! That would be the milk, oil, gluten flour, and kneading to the absolute limit. Also, bulk proof in the Pullman means less touchy-degassy! #bread

I LOVE pasta. But I am watching my weight/health; shoveling mounds of glutinous carbs down my gullet is counter-productive. So I'm experimenting with how far I can push healthier ingredients in pasta dough while maintaining my culinary standards. Got it to around 60% lentil/chickpea; and good!

Made some red lentil flour... so I could make pasta... so I could make Italian bean tomato and pasta soup. It was a process, but worth it! #food #pasta #soup

I... don't know what wood this is 🤔 Any woody people able to identify this? Too orangey to be walnut. Sapele and mahogany usually have straighter grain. Might be makore, but pretty brownish for makore. Dunno. 🤷🏻‍♂️ #wood #woodworking
