Successfully from audible to hoopla. Im a big believer that boycotts work, but seeing so many people trying to find alternatives and leverage the political power of spending their money has been one of the few things giving me hope right now.

Tiktok University is a perfect example of why that platform is so threatening. The ban lasted for less than a day and millions of people were like let's get to work! Sharing information is powerful. Don't forget that we have power.

Finally deleted my Facebook. I had already stopped using it years ago so it was easy. I'm working on deleting my insta next. It just sucks because that actually affects my business. But we can do this. We have to show we're serious. Amazon, Audible, Uber, Walmart, I'm looking at you next.

Ok so what happens now. Last night made it clear we need a place where we can talk to each other the way we could on tiktok. And that place is not on a meta app.

Ok I'll say it. I'm pissed. I'm grieving the loss of something so important to me. I'm angry at the obvious crime that is being committed. Ok. Feeling a little better, enough to say that I still have hope for humanity. A big reason for that is because of the communities I'm apart online and irl. Don't underestimate your power, especially now.
