Tomorrow is National Voter Registration Day. My League of Women Voter colleagues & I will be tabling at a local university. Our state league sent out a detailed security message. Bc we may get shot tomorrow. Empowering voters, defending democracy for more than 100 yrs. Ain't stopping now.

A small bit of good news. Gina Ortiz Jones won the San Antonio, TX, mayor run off race against a MAGA opponent by 12,282 votes. Not great voter turnout out (17%) but better than other off years. Not the first woman mayor for SA but the first gay. Happy Pride Month!

Sitting in a mom&pop taco shop, Fox News on the TV, staff said they don’t have any way to turn it off or change it. I haven’t listened to Fox before, no wonder the MAGAs vote the way they do. This is awful.
