Tonight's disaster movie is The Day After Tomorrow (2004), which surprisingly had a 4K, Dolby Vision release. It's one of my favorite disaster movies, and I'm pumped to be watching it! Jake Gyllenhaal is one of my favorite actors, and it's always nice to go back and watch some of his older work.

Picked up Returnal tonight for PC and GOD DAMN this game is a awesome. Anyone with a scifi-shooter lust like me will adore this game. I'm an hour in and can feel that old video game addiction starting to kick in.

Closing out the night with a second disaster movie: Volcano (1997) and boy does it have some great color grading. It's only in 1080p and doesn't have any of that fancy HDR10 but it's shot on film with practical effects and looks great. Maybe I should watch Dante's Peak tomorrow and compare...

Watching the 2015 disastor movie San Andreas starring The Rock and sort of loving it. Dumb, action packed, and has good effects. I don't hate it, but it's no Day After Tomorrow.
