Unused in FF7 were 4 alternate versions of the standard shop text that use various Japanese regional dialects. Using these was one of SAC's white whale for a while, but technical advancements finally allowed for it. Then it turned out only one shopkeeper in the entire game has a matching accent lol.

it's been a decade, and Undertale's ending still makes me cry as hard as it ever did. I'm glad I didn't over expose myself to it enough for the emotional impact to be sanded off the way I did with a lot of the rest of the game lol.

I'm constantly amazed at how much worse the cinematography is in Ever Crisis despite them having better models and actual 3D environments to work with. Go watch the PS1 version (specifically, PC breaks an effect) of them looking at Sephiroth not!killing Tseng and then Ever Crisis's version.

I haven't really mentioned it on here much (if at all), but my first playthrough of @shinraarchaeology.bsky.social's FFVII OG mod has allowed me to identify numerous issues with the PC port's BGM files, which has resulted in me helping edit new BGM files for them to use to correct the issues.

Honestly glad there's no FF9 remake. I didn't even really want an FF7 one. Learn to enjoy art for what it is, man.
