The US has immigration laws, created by Congress. It's the executive branch's job to enforce them. ICE is the agency that does that. You can say "abolish ICE." But the laws still exist. So, even if ICE is abolished, the job of enforcing those laws will fall to another agency.

I'm not a doomer. I vote in every election. I donate time and money to candidates. I'm realistic about the challenges. We live in a country where 77 million people voted for rapist for president. Their side will own SCOTUS for decades. If you say "expand the court" you don't live in reality.

1. The Fed gov is responsible for enforcing immigration laws. 2. If you want those laws changed, elect a Congress that will. 3. The punishment for being illegally present is deportation not indefinite detention or execution. 4. ICE has no jurisdiction over citizens.
