Today was a circus of political cross-dressing. 🎭 Act 1: the Israeli PM wagging his finger at 🇪🇬 for not letting Palestinians escape… from the war he’s waging. Act 2: the Israeli army’s spokesperson scolding a 🇵🇸political party urging people to stay in Gaza City… in the same war they started.

Block by block, street by street, the Israeli army is "quietly" swallowing Gaza City—while treating the world like mushrooms: kept in the dark and fed manure.

The absence of the skilled journalists recently killed is painfully felt in Gaza’s anemic reporting. Genocide rages in the dark, fed by synthetic Western reporters and their endless ‘both sides’ nonsense. That’s the plan.

Our clean water truck is out in neighborhoods, but much of the need still goes unmet. We’ve asked the team to double deliveries to reach displaced families.

So the White House appointed Jared Kushner and Tony Blair to plan Gaza’s future. Amazing—Kushner from Khan Younes, Blair from Beit Hanoun… totally the locals we’ve been waiting for.

As my mother walked past their makeshift tent, his mom brought her son forward — not to ask for anything for herself, but to make sure his plight was seen. He is one of countless children in Gaza who need proper medical care, and real nutrition. She wanted the world to know that he is here.

This is not Berlin in 1945, nor Grozny in 1999, nor Aleppo in 2016 — this is Gaza, 2025. No city has ever been erased with such relentless precision, no people forced to endure such destruction in full view of the world. These are not ruins of the past; this is the ongoing crime of our present.

Today, 500 families in Deir al-Balah and 700 more in the north received 60,000 meals. 🍲💪 Two teams, one goal: real aid on the frontlines of famine. No guns, no chaos—just service. Unlike others, their “aid sites” look like detention centers, not humanitarian operations.

The White House is meeting today on Gaza’s future. No Palestinians invited. In Washington, nothing is settled quite so swiftly as other people’s troubles—provided they aren’t in the room.

When Mom stopped by their makeshift camp, the kids broke into a dance party — laughter, music, and joy in the middle of fear. Deep down, everyone is bracing for the looming invasion of Gaza, but for a moment, the kids made their own light.

We bake cookies while Israeli forces take lives— not because we’re oblivious, but to remind ourselves we’re still human. The taste is a sliver of normalcy in a world of suffering. In a place where death is constant, choosing to create— even something as simple as a cookie— is an act of survival.

The sweet shift is led by Om Ashraf, who was one of our original crew at the first Soup Kitchen location we opened. She returned to help us bake Eid cookies and mamoul in preparation for Eid. While the Israeli army is stationed about a mile from us, we do what we can to lift people's spirits.

We began baking Eid cookies early. While Eid is still 10 days away, we felt compelled to start now. Sadly, some members of our community may not survive until then due 2 the ongoing genocide and its heavy toll on Palestinian civilians. We also hoped the familiar aroma of the cookies bring out smiles
