I did not intend to grow up to be a harpy about integrity and ethics. I thought those were basic bitch building blocks of society that everyone would fight for. But it turns out that capital has deep pockets and different priorities and I like to fight for the underdog. So here we are.

Curling for Beginners and Improvers is terrific, and I'm glad to find you here on Bluesky!

I was ordered to take a full week off #curling to help diagnose my weird Achilles issue (maybe over-use? maybe a bone spur? maybe a nerve entrapment?). Tonight I sat out my doubles game and my whole gastrocnemius has seized up. Clearly the prescription is to *never miss a game again*?

As it is (roughly) New Year's, it's as good a time as any for a little self-reflection, personal growth, and resolutions. I did very well with exercise last year, but still gained weight because the dieting part is also very important and I did a lot of grief-eating.
