I am very sad to hear of the Death of #AggreyBurke. He was an inspirational teacher that taught me as a white middle class medical student, and confronted me about race and racism in Britain. He changed my whole worldview. RIP a Great Briton. www.theguardian.com/society/2022...

I was one of his medical students back in the Eighties. Aggrey was a great teacher and cared greatly for his often very troubled patients. He challenged me to think about racism in British society and changed my world view. He was a brilliant man and I mourn his passing.
