Surreal moment last night at 3am, dancing as a demon in Club Entropy surrounded by androids, this incredible genderqueer hyena, DJ playing an insane mix of drum and bass and techno, shader and light effects pulsing, where I remembered that this is the internet as I dreamed it could be so long ago.

Finally did it and blocked all very poor avatars and it has made clubbing in vrchat actually work again. Like I can now have 40-50 avatars around me and not be crashing every two seconds, and the impostors look good enough for the immersion. Massive improvement.

Felt like 4 years ago when I would get a batch of techno off beatport/Bandcamp it would be mostly 130-140bpm, now it seems like 140bpm is the lowest. Change in my personal taste? Or change in the taste of the industry?

I’ve spent a lot of my life comparing myself to others and thinking that I could be so much further if had just worked harder, done more, been better.
