A full chorus of birds earlier today. Sparrows, starlings, crows, and even some red-winged blackbirds. It was quite a performance.

With autumn approaching, groups of neighborhood crows are growing in size. Each morning there’s a lookout waiting for me to toss kibble & peanuts on the carport roof & seemingly out of nowhere a group of 15 or more magically swoops in. #crows #birds

Recent days have been an interesting juxtaposition of #autumn leaves on trees, cool mornings and hot afternoons. Tomorrow it’s supposed to reach 100.

I could really use some calming energy. Had a seizure an hour ago and trying to get back in my body, so to speak.

This evening a #sparrow flew into our house when I opened the back door. In confusion it tried to get out through the closed kitchen window. Before I could act, my husband quickly and gently cupped the panicking #bird in his hands & brought it outside. One of the many reasons why I love this man.

Some days it hits harder, witnessing & hearing about people in power intent on destruction, who seem to thrive on it. How it seems to give carte blanch for others to act out their own hate. For those people? Unconditional #love be damned.

39 years ago today my husband/soul mate & I drove from San Diego, where we lived at the time, to Alaska and back. We got married at a courthouse in Fairbanks along the way. He's a kind caring soul who's most at home in the forest. He talks to wildlife, they listen. And he still has his NYC humor.

A lower tooth has been painful for past several days & am thankful my dentist is able to see me at 2:00 today. However, I have the world's worst anxiety with most things dental, so any #positive #energy would be appreciated.

You know those times when lower energies stick to you? On waking this morning I felt it. So I immediately went to my go-to clearing/balancing. One hand over heart #chakra, the other over solar plexus. Deep breaths while saying My energy is my own. My spirit is my own. My mind is my own. All is well.

For the past 4 days or so there've been no squirrels visiting the backyard, nor have I seen any in the surrounding neighborhood trees. I haven't heard chickadees and sparrows either. The bird feeder is barely touched. The only #birds I've heard are crows. It's so strange.

Just finished my home protection/clearing infusion of mint, catnip and full moon water to spray around the house when needed. A storm just blew through & lots of thunder rumbles again. The air feels so heavy it makes me kind of dizzy.

I've been wondering why I'm so hesitant to say I'm a #witch, even though I chose this path 25 years ago. Now I think it's bcs part of me feels I don't qualify, so to speak, because also I include rituals from other spiritual paths. But I feel that's the beauty of being a witch. Making it your own.

First wildfire of the season in our area. It's grown from 3 to 53 acres in just a couple hours. Lot of people on that road have livestock but people are stepping up to take them in. #wildfire #bitterrrootvalley
