All day I’ve been thinking it’s Saturday 😳

Husband and I just planted a Bridal Wreath #spirea in the front where the big spruce tree used to be. That spot looked so sad & empty. I still miss that tree.

Yesterday my oldest son took me on a combined birthday/Mother’s Day outing. An hour drive to a magical cedar grove with a few trees that are said to be 2,000 years old. We walked the nature trail and had lunch at a nearby lodge. It was wonderful! #nature #devotogrove

My husband spotted this White-lined Sphinx #moth in the backyard today, so I took a quick photo of it. We've never seen this type of moth before and it's so cool! It hovers over the flowers like a #hummingbird. #nature

Been away from BS since last week, for various reasons. I've missed a lot of you. Life feels in a holding pattern for me right now. Again, various reasons.

Years ago I was told the reason for my #depression at that time was because I wasn't #enlightened enough. I knew at a soul level that wasn't true, but damn. My point is, no matter what you feel, you are enough. At times you need support, or strength to ride the wave. But you are always enough.

My husband, who rarely gets sick, now has a nasty head cold. Though he's a sweet-natured guy, I know to approach with caution during these times. Just slipped him a cup of peppermint tea and walked away. 😂

29 years ago today my mom left this physical plane. How can it be that long? It's really not. I clearly remember her voice, her touch, the sound of her laugh, the way she would say "hi baby" when I called her on the phone. I still feel her presence come and go. Love is eternal. #love #mom

Temps are in the teens but something pulled me to light a three wick candle and sit with it on the front steps. The night was quiet, my breath swirling in white mist. My heart is hurting, but the ancestors presence is felt 🔥

Today’s been a weird day. Injured my back, slipped disc, and was in ER for hours. Oldest son had a strong allergic reaction, food allergy, and was there earlier today. Thankfully he’s doing better.

Had a long #dream about driving to my parents house. I was on a freeway and nothing looked familiar but I kept driving. I knew I was going the right direction. Stopped at a shopping center and asked a couple for directions. Continued in comments.

My container Meyer lemon tree has been forming its first buds ever, and this evening one has opened! I guess the grow light I’ve been using has helped.

For the first time in the 35 years I've lived in this area, #crows are here in the winter. They're usually gone by the end of October, back again in March. Same with #starlings. The winter weather has felt more like early spring. Animals are definitely responding to earth changes. #climatechange

Neighbor told us the tree removal is postponed because NW Energy can't make it today. I didn't realize the power for the whole block will be shut off during the removal 😒 Selfish little part of me is really hoping they won't do this tomorrow because I've got some important NFL games to watch 😅

Our neighbor informed us this big 100 year + ponderosa pine will be cut down tomorrow. It’s not healthy anymore and I know it’s necessary, but I’ll miss this grand lady.
