So each morning I've been weighing myself to record my weightloss journey. I can happily say that since 4th Oct I have dropped from 14st 9lbs to 14st 1lb as of this morning! Fingers-crossed I can break into 13st by the end of this week!

At Kokorocon this year I witnessed someone using a joycon as a remote for a PowerPoint presentation. I have found you can do the same with a Wiimote, which I have personally tested. I'll be using this for my con presentation at Hotarucon.

Just had an anime idea; the protagonist is a someone whose job is to get people isekai'd. They're visited by deities who request specific people and they have devise a way to make it happen. We later find they were isekai'd themselves to do this job.

I decided to weigh myself yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to see that I'd lost a stone in weight! If I can lose one more, I'd fall into the 'acceptable' BMI weight range for someone of my height. (Though BMI is bullshit)

Oh joy, getting to the point where I'm seeing the negative effects of the diet. I need to drink more water and I'm feeling more lethargic. But people have noticed some weight loss, which is a positive.

After finding keto noodles and tagliatelle, I made chicken stirfry last night and carbonara tonight. Was also my first time making carbonara from scratch, and it turned out really well! Not done too bad for my first week on keto, but next is working on reducing my calories.

Managed to find a free VR boxing app on Steam (Punchfit) and In 18 mins I've worked up one hell of a sweat! Will be trying this out along side the pilates app and other small exercises I can fit in. Also tried some keto noodles as part of a stir-fry and they were surprisingly good!

So I've almost finished making a coat for a cosplay I'm planning, but found that it doesn't fit around my gut 😭 So I'm going on a keto-ish diet and doing exercise to try and get rid of my spare tire. Currently hoping my ADHD makes this a hyperfocus for me, so I'm more inclined to stick with it!

Tis a sad day, I've poured the last of the Cypriot spirit I bought on holiday back in June. I'd specifically gone for the honeyed version due to my fondness for honey and mead. It's delicious and I'd recommend it to anyone who fancies something strong and almost brandy-like.

I've fallen down a rabbit hole of my own making. I've been writing a timeline for the Zero Escape game series, which I'm planning on showing at a con in November. But now I've had the urge to do a timeline for the Resident Evil games that are considered canon. Goddamn my hyperfocus!

Feeling pretty good today; got given some burgers and sausages that were going spare from a BBQ. They'd been defrosted so needed using soon, so I've made lasagna with half of the burgers, and chilli dogs with the sausages and the rest of the burgers. Got 12 meals in my freezer for lunches! 😊

While visiting my in-laws a couple of weeks back I went looking for cocktail recipies to use the array of spirits they had. I came across one called a Suffering Bastard, which was really nice. Sadly I don't have all the ingredients at home, so I've made a bastardised version of it

While there have been quiet moments at work, I've been reading horror movie plots on Wikipedia. As a result I've been having ideas for a horror movie of my own. Though as I have no ability to film/animate this, it could make a semi decent story once I have the plot down.

Following the purchase of some Zesty Lime Doritos, I've used them to make a pasta bake with a crunch cheesy topping last night, and tonight (for my lunch tomorrow) I've made some herb crusted salmon fillets.

I've just had a moment. I'd 3D printed off some small decorations to go on a top for @blazingskies.bsky.social and was in the process of sticking the last 2 onto their top. I suddenly lose one of them. I'm then tearing the area apart looking for it. I found it..... stuck to my arm. *facepalm*

It's been a productive weekend, made a start on painting some 3D prints, and also did some prototyping for an accessory for my DBD cosplay. So when I next get some black filament, I'll have a red light I can attach to my belt while I chase survivors.

3D printing is a love/hate relationship. On the one hand, I can make amazing things at home. On the other hand, if it fails I can't recover the filiment to try again; and if I catch it too late, I now have a pile of filament strands covering my desk.

This morning has been filled with the headache that is turning the flat mesh model on the left into the 3D model on the right. There were no guides on this, so I had to experiment to get the answer. (Using Meshmixer I extruded the model, then used the Make Solid function) Now to see if it prints!

Made focaccia bread for the first time. Pretty happy with how it came out too. Something I may make again.

Feeling somewhat proud. Managed to design a bracket to attach to my desk allowing me to use my keyboard in a position that give me more space between me and my monitor. 3D printed a pair of them and they work a treat.

I know you shouldn't expect to be a hit sensation when you've only been streaming for a week, but even having 1 person pop in to watch would be nice.
