What an amazing day conducting 100 Mozart Kinder concert at Sächsische Mozart-Gesellschaft e.V. in #Chemnitz - children from Germany, Czechia & Ukraine - Musik is grenzenlos! The end of a very very special week here that I’ll never forget!

And that’s a wrap on rehearsals What a privilege to work with these fantastic young musicians from Ukraine - where the average of the orchestra is 14 and for Lucy Armstrong’s concerto Mark Tayetskyi is a superb soloist Music by WA and Franx Xaver Wolfgang Mozart is also on the programme tomorrow!

A busy weekend continues and great to be back with Wilmslow Symphony Orchestra to start my second project of the season with them! I’ve not conducted Beethoven 9 since 2008 whilst I was an undergraduate at Durham! It’s great to do it again now!

Today has been the culmination of a wonderful project! 🥰 Three Year 5 classes from #Congleton Primary Schools singing a concert alongside the wonderful Congleton Community Choir, accompanied by an ensemble of young professional players & members of Congleton Youth Orchestra!

A bumper day in #Congleton as we completed our singing workshops in primary schools ahead of our concert on Friday with Congleton Community Choir & Congleton Youth Orchestra. And the next day come and hear Congleton Choral Society in concert with the fantastic National Festival Orchestra!
