Ended my 5-gig weekend with a triple stack today. Made it from church to a Providence festival and finally to a Jamestown wedding without a hitch. And all the while the music was electric! We have soundboard recordings of both shows coming shortly

I also have a jazz piano album and a protest folk album ready to release, in addition to demos for 2 new studio records. But even digital distribution is prohibitively expensive so I don’t really know when I can release anything.

Was it a mistake to remove my music from Spotify? I feel like the next year or two could have a lot of growth for me and I don’t want to miss out of what is objectively the biggest opportunity/audience. But Spotify sucks and goes against my ethics. What would y’all do?

I’ve been using Apple Podcasts recently and it’s kinda lame. It always restarts an episode whenever I reopen the app. Not sure if that’s a changeable setting? If I get 20 minutes into an episode and want to pick up where I left off, I want to app to remember where I was.
