Having fun with the FLUX.1 model using @replicate.com! It took about 20 minutes to fine-tune the model on 10 photos of me, and now I can consistently generate images with my face from a prompt in just over a minute! Here's a sample using the source_image property and a few images from #biglebowski

Just cancelled a 16 y/o Verizon account and switched to @t-moblie.bsky.social. Verizon wanted $35/5Gb for data over the imaginary limit on an UNLIMITED plan, during a hurricane, when our power and internet was out for a full week. Feels good to stop giving my money to Verizon.

A few months ago I was setting up some uptime monitors in betteruptime.com and I decided to add one to monitor itself. Turns out it works, and they alerted me that their own platform was down. BUT HOW DID THEY KNOW?! 🤔

#GoogleDocs makes it as easy as possible to add images, (drag-and-drop, insert from URL, web search, Drive, etc). But they make it surprisingly hard to get all the images back out! If you’re using Docs to draft content that you plan to post somewhere else, this becomes a bottleneck.

Lots of talk about #AI for text analysis these days, but sometimes regular code is still a better choice. You can actually improve #LLMs responses by parsing the query with traditional #NLP tools first, and using the output to add context to the prompt!

#Amazon has a new #AIChat named Rufus. Or does it!? I tried to ask it why they chose that name, and it had an existential crisis.

Spent the day learning about Pinecone’s Assistants, and built a chat app with RAG using data from Google Drive. Pinecone handles all the embedding and indexing for you. Just upload files and the assistant will begin using them for retrieval augmented generation. blog.greenflux.us/building-an-...
