Final update: it’s home :)

Another update: They sent me another email with a huge .html listing of everything they managed to get out of it, and I'm happy to confirm that yes, everything is still there as it should be. Might have it by today or tomorrow. So excited to bring everything back home soon :)

Quick update on this. It turns out that recovery was a 100% successful and they're moving everything over right now!!! Turns out the problem was a worn flash chip causing bit errors on the PCB. I can't thank you enough, thank you all for helping me out.

Secret's out y'all. As of today, Spitfire has officially stopped blepping. We had a good run, but it's time his blep goes to retirement

If I can get *most* of everything back up and running before my birthday, I promise I'm gonna throw a big ass party and do a super long set to celebrate (assuming all of the music is still there by the time I get it back). Want to do something special as a thank you to everyone who helped.

I've gotten tons of support from both friends and family since this post, and I'm happy to say that I'll have enough to pay off the drive recovery. I was able to take it to the shop today and I'll know if anything is recovered in a few days. From the bottom of my heart, thank you
