This is the third book in my 13th century Alt History of Hellas...the fourth book is in final re-write and edit. 5th is about 2/3 done, but on the back burner.

I write "Alternate History". I started in ~2006 or so, with a question about linguistics: Why is modern Greek so complex? I conceived of a much simpler version of the the language, based (partly) on my limited knowledge of Esperanto.

In ~1978 I discovered the Situationist International. That led me back to dada and surrealism and to the Lettrists, whom I hadn't previously heard of.

Another episode in my series of occasional attempts to explain myself to people: In my senior year I read _The Dispossessed_ by Leguin and that led me to _Mutual Aid_ by Kropotkin and _God and the State_ by Bakunin. This led me to Anarchism (as an Ideology) and later to little-a anarchism.

Hadn't really planned on revisiting this short story series, but someone elsewhere suggested it as comfort reading, when the national park service goes rogue, after a civil war that sees the US fragment into chunks. When there is still hope in the embers of civilization.
