The suffering in Gaza is intolerable. The attacks by Israel must stop and humanitarian aid must flow immediately. There must be resolute international pressure on Israel to halt its current stance. Humanity must prevail.

The UK has used the Scottish fishing industry as a bargaining chip for its own ends - again. They didn’t even bother to consult the Scottish Government this time. Only independence would allow us to negotiate our own settlement, and protect Scotland’s fishing industry.

The Prime Minister’s statement on immigration today will damage our economy, the NHS, social care and our universities. It ignores the need to boost Scotland’s working age population. This sort of divisive language only plays into Nigel Farage’s hands. Not in Scotland’s name.

🚨 Anas Sarwar promised that under his leadership Labour would deliver justice for the WASPI women. 🥀 Now, Labour’s Work and Pension Secretary says it’s too expensive. 🤝 We will keep our promise and support the WASPI women in their pursuit of justice.

Politics is about choices. Whether it’s restoring winter heating support cut by UK Labour government, ending the two-child cap, or standing up for WASPI women, I’ve always chosen to do what’s right for Scotland. Neither Keir Starmer nor Anas Sarwar can say the same.

This week we learned that the number of Scots students entering Scottish universities is at a record high. Also, more young people from disadvantaged backgrounds are entering higher education. Remember that tuition is free because of your SNP Government.
