On Thursday, ICE told Minnesota clergy there were no detainees to visit in the Whipple federal building. On Friday, they loaded 30 detainees in shackles onto an Eastern Air Express plane at MSP, and flew them to Alexandria, Louisiana. Most ICE arrestees here have no criminal record or charges.

UPDATE: The small ICE Air jet has just landed at Entebbe Airport in Uganda. This marks the 1st deportation flight to Uganda since at least 2020 and likely the 1st transfer there under the Asylum Cooperative Agreement.
