Happy to share that I’ve been awarded a Research and Work Scholarship for Visual Arts by the City of Cologne. In times of increasing uncertainty around arts funding and beyond, this kind of support creates crucial space for reflection, research, and experimentation. New project starting in March!

Last week I contributed to a panel on the topic of "ghost labour" at the Nordic Labour Film Festival – invited by @annekaun.bsky.social. I presented my installation EZ Quality Sorter V2, which was previously shown in Sweden in the context of Anne's research project on the automation of welfare.

Just realized that my work is being mentioned in the remarkable "Routledge Handbook of Art, Science, and Technology Studies" edited by Hannah Rogers, @mhalpern.bsky.social, Dehlia Hannah, and Kathryn de Ridder-Vignone – surrounded by fellow artists Erich Berger, Mari Keto, and Thomas Feuerstein.

Erbsenzähler is a german derogative for bureaucratic minded people heavily fixated on quantifyable detail. The digital turned us all into them, the erbsenzählerei infiltrating every aspect of our life, down to the tokens of our language. Great piece!

Meet the EZ Weight Sorter MINI – a new machine in the ERBSENZÄHLER series that sorts individual pea seeds into predefined weight classes. As seeds accumulate in the glass tubes, their distribution traces a bell curve, turning the sorter into a live statistical display. (1/5) #projectpeacounter
