just to keep everyone on this side of things up to speed, i'm trying to make a small side-game for Same-Day Story! hopefully you will be able to experience a small part of its characters and overall weirdness within the coming months...

Sunfluffs is such a goddamn cool game y'all. I can and will advertise it to my follower base, because it is FULL of peak, even just with its 2 current chapters. I don't think I've ever played a game quite like it before. (This is an order btw. PLAY IT!!!)

Been playing this today. Very good. Play it in short sessions, take in the world, and vibe with the adorable characters. The FX is incredible as well. I am going to take way too many pictures in the snapshot mode.

Been a while since I posted anything related to Same-Day Story. Partially because there's not much I can elaborate on which is completely established in the story yet. But at least I can still tease around a bit for this project which may or may not ever happen.

today was a draw-a-new-icon kinda day

Felt like drawing this creature again today. Some may recognize her from my posts about ChuChu's Dreamland. Fiola was originally meant to star in her own game, but I figured she'd still fit into my other games just fine! (For those curious, she is an octopus-mermaid. The lack of mouth is intended.)

So about that new puzzle game. Still got a lot to do before dev can truly start, but here are some sprites. The name of this game will be "Index Painter". You play as Sana, a robot with a paintbrush arm. That's all for now! (Yes, it's stylistically inspired by Void Stranger.)

sorry to the chuchu fans, that game will probably be on hiatus for a bit. i came up with an idea for a new puzzle game which i've written ideas for nonstop the past 4 or 5 days. that'll be my new hyperfixation for a while, i hope you can understand. me, on the other hand? i'm locked in

been makin good progress on the ChuChu game in the past few days. i probably added some sounds, a splash/load screen, and behaviors to make enemies properly activate/respawn when onscreen. i say "probably" because i haven't actually tested any of the changes i made in the past like 3 days

Played a short Kirby fangame called "Kirby: Wacky Episode". It was an enlightening look into what a polished fangame looks and plays like! The level and boss design were quite solid, and it's a great length to play in short burts, especially the side modes. also I CAN LOOK AT ITS PROJECT FILES AAAAA

So far, work on the ChuChu webcomic is going well, I think..? I got the pages all set up, and now I'm working on the art for the first chapter. And I went extremely hard on the art for the 2nd page... I still have 8 more to go...

been watching random kirby playthroughs to refuel my soul, and i think i struck gold. this Crystal Shards playthrough by PinkKittyRose has a cute character narrating the gameplay at the bottom, and honestly the vibes are immaculate. i should strive to be as free as this

Update: I've been thinking about pausing ChuChu's Dreamland until two things occur. Firstly, I'd like to gather a team to quicken development. Secondly, I want to "test run" its story with a webcomic! I did the calculations, it'd come out to about 81 chapters. It's a lot, but I think I could do it!
