Obama wrote “I imagined a parallel universe in which the United States had put its immense power and authority behind the climate change fight.” You were the president dude! Don't imagine, do it! He seems to think the Paris Agreement was about expanding fossil fuels.

The US is now the biggest producer of fossil fuels with the biggest expansion plans, the biggest exporter, and the second biggest user, way ahead of China per capita. It's also incredibly backwards - China makes more money exporting green tech than the US makes exporting fossil fuels.

19 years on and we're heading for way more than 2C of heating. Global civilizational collapse. Billions of deaths. The biggest culprit? The USA, which started a suicidal acceleration into fossil fuels under - guess who? - Obama.

Obama described jetting in to COP 15 Denmark last minute, chasing the Chinese around the conference centre, and pulling “some real gangster shit” to secure a non-binding deal to limit global heating to 2C. But 2C will be absolutely devastating for humanity and nature.
