To continue my problem solving in public: 1 Investigators are looking for the Big Bad 2 They break into her home 3 She isn't there 4 They go adventure to find her 5 They find her in location X 6 There's a teleporter from location X to her home Do I mention the teleporter at moment 2 or moment 6?

Often when writing #ttrpg investigations, I put something in a room and say 'It's impossible for the investigators to find at this stage, but...." and then explain something. Invariably, I get playtest feedback where a GM disclosed this thing and broke the game. ...Why?
