To continue my problem solving in public: 1 Investigators are looking for the Big Bad 2 They break into her home 3 She isn't there 4 They go adventure to find her 5 They find her in location X 6 There's a teleporter from location X to her home Do I mention the teleporter at moment 2 or moment 6?

Often when writing #ttrpg investigations, I put something in a room and say 'It's impossible for the investigators to find at this stage, but...." and then explain something. Invariably, I get playtest feedback where a GM disclosed this thing and broke the game. ...Why?

What’s the smoothest #ttrpg system you’ve ever played? Which game glides along effortlessly like silk? Whats that campaign that felt fascinatingly facile to run?

Ok hear me out, new #ttrpg dice mechanic: - d6 dice pool. Rolling a 6 is a success. (Year zero style) - You have 15 seconds to roll and can reroll each die as many time as possible - However the dice stand at the end of 15 seconds is the number of successes Cue frantic chaos every time you roll.

What system would *you* run a Discworld ttrpg in? I guess you’d want to pick and choose depending on if you were in Ankh Morpork, exploring Fourecks or bumbling around Lancre. Pratchett would use whatever genre he needed to make his point, so a Discworld campaign would need to do the same.
