Birch Trees in a meadow, study from last year :) I was out crossing some fields in Perthshire, Scotland and found these colossal birch trees beyond a crumbling stone wall at the very back of a somewhat deserted cow field. Their trunks were like old oaks or sycamore, the largest birches I've seen!
