Swapping out 16 cpus in my nodes. Little upgrade from 6130s to 6150s. Have a new management host that will also host 92tb more of ssd storage cause I’m fucking spoiled and spinning discs are pissing me off for migrations

Turned 34 today. I have the flu. However! Some of my new CPUs for my lab showed up today. Only ten more to go. (6150s for my nodes.) been playing the new STALKER game and enjoying it greatly.

A fun little addition to my collection. Finding one that hadn’t been sketched on (I know this makes me a weirdo) but I’d like to get some work done on it eventually.

A fun little project for the property, a raspi4 with an MMDVM dual hat that supports dmr and a bunch of other neat radio tech. The antennas are definitely getting swapped out and I’ll likely deploy another of these on the property if I’m not satisfied with quality when it’s setup as a reflector.

Rehabilitating a coop built on our property in the 20s. With winter coming we needed to replace the rotten wood and get it a little more air tight and predator proof. Replacing our patch jobs and just giving it new life.

MagicCon was pretty fun, got some spicy upgrades for my collection. Played some solid games, did some wheeling and dealing and met and spent time with some incredible people. Downsides, Vegas still tries to kill me every time I'm there, got covid for my troubles on this trip.

Had a great trial run, ran last commander standing all day and made it to top 16 with my pet Sharuum list bad luck had me into a 3 pod after two players dropped. Was good to work around the high variance of game and card quality today versus my usual pod of ruthless CEDH junkies.

Some things will remain a fun stable piece of magic history to enjoy.

Just a few days away from MagicCon in Vegas and I’m wondering if I’ve jammed enough games to make the deck work in competitive.

Looking forward to getting some games in at MagicCon, have been grinding this pet deck of mine at our cedh pod including some dramatic changes to the tech since the bans and it feels much more able to hang and pivot versus the old way of being hybrid Stax with a cute combo. #mtg #commander
