I do have to admit I am slightly concerned about my parents. I was over for dinner the other night and both of them have put on a fair bit of weight. On top of that it seems like they aren't really making any strides to change course. I suspect my mom wants to but that dad is dragging his heels. 🫤

I interrupted a fox chasing down his dinner on my evening walk last night. He back paddled a few dozen yards and then just glared me down. Interesting that this is the first time I have seen a fox in town. I guess it makes sense given how many wild rabbits there are in the area.

So my normal manager is out this week and someone else was processing my payroll instead. Long story short, I got paid for 8 hours plus about $100 in expenses... I should have gotten paid for 47.5 hours and about $200 in expenses! I believe the British term is, "I am not a happy bunny." 🤬

Treating myself for my (post) birthday weekend. I walked down to the local coffee shop for coffee in a cinnamon bun this afternoon, then splurged a little at the Farmers Market. Now on to an escape room and Italian / pizza dinner with my friends 😊🎂
