Knocked together a set of markers for Chain of Command so I can match them to my figure bases..Now going to attempt to make a silicone mould and cast some copies up in resin!!

Some 3D printed goodness in the shape of a 1/48th Pz1A. STL from Counlane Models the print was done by Dark Moon Printing on Etsy...It's a beautifully detailed little model and the best print I have bough to date.

It's resurrection time!! I've revived this build from its cardboard box tomb and I'm furiously working to get it over to @fenrisgames.com to get it put into moulds for casting. If you're a comic book fan you may recognise this particular vehicle #TankGirlTank😜

We are smoking a fag.. It’s all gaspers and lung torpedoes on the painting desk today. Republican UNL35 commander and a DP28 gunner joining the ranks of finished SCW figures.

I'm getting the hang of this face painting marlarkey😂 two more Republicans are taking shape to add to my growing Spanish Civil War forces. The figure on the left is the commander of a UNL-35 armoured car I'm working on. The other fellow is a DP-28 LMG gunner from the XIII International Brigade.

I think this might be the best face I've ever painted on a figure🫣 Volksgrenadier from RKX miniatures printed out at 1/48th scale.

Folks of a certain age will get this😆

Watching "Panfilov's28" once again for a bit of Soviet painting inspiration.

I'm messing with Pixelmator Pro to try to give some of my game photos a "period feel."

I rolled out my 20mm Early War Soviets last night for a game of BattleGroup Barbarossa. Had my arse handed to me on a plate by my German opponent..A little bit of history repeating😂

I'm back on the 1/72nd/20mm scale Soviet army for the BattleGroup rules. It's a KV-1 plastic Trumpeter models kit with Part photoetch and OKB resin tracks. The commander figure is from Black Dog Resins. I messed up the earth colour for the mud on the lower hull. I'm fixing it with a few dark washes.

Back in the good old days, when killing Fascists was the right thing to do, and the Russians were on our side...Well, sort of 😜 I decided to try and finish my most complete project, so it's back to the USSR for me. 20mm Early war Soviets for the BattleGroup rules. за Родину Вперед на запад

I managed to drag myself out of my pit of self-pity and slap some more paint on a figure. It's another Legionario for my growing SCW Nationalist force—a 28 mm model from the excellent Ebro Miniatures range.

I did a little bit of light research this morning. I am trying to find out the organisation and make-up of units in the EPR and International Brigades at the platoon level so I can rework the CofC Espana lists and come up with a working model for the V for Victory rules from Studio Tomahawk.

Relevant again? Looks like it.
