What's wild about #deathstranding2 is that a Low Roar song will come on and it's like I'm right back in 2020, in lockdown, playing Death Stranding to escape it all. Like, not sure if I can keep my family safe, but I can get this package from point A to point B with the right plan.

That moment when you realize that it's not that your car's service center waiting room is playing good music, so much as your music is so old it's now "safe" to play at a car service center waiting room.

The "battle" tracks that @ludvigforssell.bsky.social did for #deathstranding2 go SO hard. They have this great combination of urgency, danger, and grandeur. They're up there with Horizon's and Hades' battle tracks in terms of making you feel like a hero.

Proud of all you #nokings protestors today. Watching footage from every major city, town, ferry, and bridge gave me hope!

#saintmotel put on an amazing show tonight at the Neptune. Hearing "It's All Happening" with a live horn section was just the best.

In the balcony of the Neptune Theater in Seattle about to see #saintmotel in concert for the first time! They've been the soundtrack to many long days at work and kept me sane during the pandemic, so it's going to be wild seeing them in person.

Plastic therapy

I was at the Kraken game for most of the day, did anything happen while I was offline?

I knew *nothing* about @localthunk.bsky.social's #Balatro but it kept up showing up in game of the year lists. So I bought it, tried it, and this game sinks its run-based poker meets Hades teeth in, and I mean DEEP. I feel things when multipliers go off. I understand now.

My feed on Threads: Not talking about Switch 2, angry, sad, billionaires. My feed on Bluesky: Talking about Switch 2, Donkey Kong, sharing cool art. I follow roughly the same people, share and interact with the same content on both platforms but they serve up very different flavors of social media.
