Hey #yycbike! I will be riding up to the medicine wheel on Nosehill to watch the sunrise & reflect on Truth & Reconciliation. I invite anyone that would like to join me there at 7:15am. The medicine wheel is located about 100ft south of the radio tower on the SE corner of the park.

Hi @npr.org! We worked late tonight putting together this handy pocket guide! It doesn't address road design issues, but if we're going to educate road users, we should include drivers. It's the size of a folded business card. Print it, fold it, put it in your wallet!

Hey. Can someone get government to pass a law that states only speed-limited pedal assist ebikes are permitted on MUPs? No ebike should have a throttle. If they do they should b on the road. Only exception would b those w/ mobility issues or limitations. Plus police enforcement would help. #yycbike

We've lost a giant. Those of us who knew Darren Markland personally are obviously shocked and deeply saddened by his sudden loss. Our thoughts are with his family and closest friends. Darren - I feel so lucky to have known you as a friend.

Here’s the thing. We can discuss all the benefits about cycling until we’re blue in the face, BUT if we don’t help people have a positive emotional experience then they won’t care to continue. Fun & joy are what encourage people to keep cycling until they understand & realize the benefits. #yycbike

It certainly has become odd. It’s as if they feel that since prices have gone up so must tip percentages. Yet if the standard 10% is used on the rising prices like it used to be then the tip money they would get would increase as well. It’s an auto inflation cost adjustment.

I had the privilege of helping kiddo move the bike to its location at Harvie Passage today. It’s an e-bike model & has a battery for the cooler as well which is really impressive. It rode quite well. The mechanic in me noticed that it needs maintenance done on it but still in good shape. #yycbike
