I find that horror is more important in times of unrest. Many people prefer the horrors of fiction over the horrors in the real world. In fiction, there's an end. There's a resolution. There's closure, no matter how horrific. We don't get that kind of comfort in the real world.

I respect any videogame that tells me the world is ending but lets me go fishing
