My big complaint last season is that we often played safe rather than getting the ball forward quickly. When Pep was losing all those games last season he said that football was no longer positional, and now more transitional. "You have to ride the wave." And who admires Pep's style? Arne Slot!

What's remarkable is that Slot was apparently hired because his style was most compatible with Jürgen's so he'd be able to use the squad he had at his disposal. This is not the high intensity football that Klopp's team used to play. It's slow, it's ponderous, it's predictable. #LFC
