#Tip: As we age, our #appetites start to decrease naturally. Yayyyy! But sometimes there's other reasons why you're not as #hungry as you used to be. Changes with #hormones like ghrelin and leptin affect "hunger cues" and can reduce #cravings. Gastrointestinal muscles slowing down help, too.

#Tip: Gambling warning signs: • Unexplained financial difficulties or requests for money. • Neglecting regular activities to take part in #gambling. • Secretive behavior or reluctance to discuss #finances. • Responding with anger or dishonesty when asked about gambling habits.

#Tip: Elderly people tend to be more socially isolated, especially after the loss of their partner. Victims of #financial #fraud are also less likely to be married and more likely to be widowed or divorced. They're especially vulnerable during a #health crisis or after the death of a loved one.

#Tip: Older adults are more susceptible to #financial #fraud due to circumstances beyond their control, too. • Possibly having an attractive nest egg of #retirement and social security #benefits. • Perceived as poor witnesses by society. There's nothing you can change about those two things.
