Return to Silent Hill might just be the worst movie I've ever seen. If not the worst, then easily the most offensive. I've never seen a movie miss the point so much. It fails on almost every level, spectacularly.

You know what? Maybe human instrumentality is what 2026 really needs.

Picked up Ithya: Magic Studies since it's an incredibly relaxing soundtrack and the art is wonderful. Interactive/Idle game that's proving to be a great game/soundtrack to do art to. Also picked up Spirit City: Lofi Sessions, though I've yet to play it.

Working on this book has been an absolute blast. Very appreciative of getting to help out!

When I first started coloring, I used to worry about not being perfect. Since then, I realize that most of the time I'm just smacking my digital canvas with my pen and hoping my colorblind ass figures it out and I'm all the happier for it.

It's hard asking people to read a comic or look at art in the middle of some historically bad shit happening nationally and globally, but I think it's important to find some happiness or positivity where you can. Comics are gateways to adventure and whimsy, and sometimes that's just what you need.

I'm glad I got out of the habit of apologizing for not getting art done. it's freeing when you break free of the social media grindset. I love doing art, but the moment it becomes an obligation is the moment I want to stop doing it.

Don't seek perfectionism in your art, whatever your medium. The world doesn't need it, and it doesn't exist anyway. What it needs is your voice. Raw, genuine, and sincere. You may think you're putting a flawed product into the world but what it's actually getting is something beautifully human.

I still love how this piece came out. It's easily one of my favorites. You have no idea how hard it was to pull off too.

I haven't really thought about it, but Michael Giacchino is probably my favorite composer from the current generation of movie composers. I'm not sure anyone can top John Williams, but if there's anyone that can come close, it's probably Giacchino.

I may have some new Sonic OVA fanart in the works. Also South Island is one of the best Sonic themes and I will fight you on this.

My favorite thing about Zootopia 2 was Nick and Judy's relationship, though that shouldn't be a surprise. I've been married for 17 years, you don't make it through a relationship that long without accruing a few scars along the way.

Zootopia 2 should have been called 2Topia and I will not back down from this.

"Wonder Man" is really, really good. Simon and Trevor have so much chemistry and the whole thing comes across extremely genuine and sincere.

Two people slapping their junk together like a $10 Walmart tambourine is like the oldest act humanity has ever done. And yet folks choose to get mad over that instead of entire countries killing each other. I guess in fairness that's like the second oldest act.

It's wild to me that there's entire Wikipedia articles (plural!) debating Madonna and her sexual material when it should really summed up as "Woman is comfortable with her sexuality." Aging woman enjoys sex? Heaven forbid, I got the vapors!

Nothing more interesting than listening to someone who streams for a living refer to thousands of dollars as "just" thousands of dollars. Meanwhile here I am busting my ass from 9 to 5:30 making less than they do.

I don't post here very much because even Bluesky is a hive of negativity in a world I'm already struggling to deal with. You just can't escape it.

If this doesn't have "What's Up?" playing at any point in the movie I'll be real mad. I'm so torn on this movie. Parts of it look incredible, parts of it are on Earth (because of course it is) and Jared Lehto is underneath that badass Skeletor costume.

I do wish they'd not focus on the cult so much in the Silent Hill movies. In the games, the cult is mostly 2 women with their grippers out. In the movie it's like a horde of Fallout mole miners hitting things with hammers.

It's a shame "Return to Silent Hill" appears to be reviewing really poorly, but it's nice to see that attitudes towards game adaptations have changed. Reviewers used to write "Movie is bad because it's based on a videogame", but now I see "Movie is bad because it doesn't hold up to the videogame".
