I'm working hard for a #fridayAFM on controlling the #DriveAFM using #Python scripting... let's say that there is some progress, but not quite there yet.

Another #fridayAFM from the past where less is more. Here, I imaged bubble wrap's surface, with air still inside! Just to show that plastic gets scratches too, and that here they are usually created by a hopping mechanism that makes zip-like scratches. #DriveAFM #Nanosurf

Early #FridayAFM posts were a bit messy. This one for instance is one of those were less is more. The experiment shows how humidity accumulates on the surface of caramel forming droplets. What is cool about it is that I catch the formation of a bridge connecting two droplets.
