I finally started the Skyward Sword remaster, and I am thoroughly enjoying it. The new controls are clever, and the 60 fps helps keep the adapted gameplay smooth. It also looks great too! The stylized, smeary, watercolor textures work really well in creating this vibe of being in a painted dream.

Part 2 is up! This half finishes up the campaign and features protecting future Obama, a trip to the ocean floor, and sees the Skedar threat brought to an end

The PC port of Perfect Dark is currently one the of best ways to experience the game. Decided to turn my extended case study session into a full playthrough. Working on part 2 and probably a part 3 covering the bonus missions and shooting range, maybe even some (or all) combat simulator challenges.

I was really enjoying megabonk until I got to a tier 3 boss and had my desire to play more of the game completely soured

A mechanic that I find kind of underappreciated in games is lethal fall damage. I think it really adds a lot of depth to a games movement and level design when gravity is a serious threat, plus the inherent risk reward that's added when you contemplate a jump that you think you *might* make
