The local hill/mountain (about 330m above sea level) has three peaks that are fun to climb in one go, certainly good to get some height meters and powerhiking into my training #trailrunning

New #running shoes update - they are fantastic. I did a quick 7k in cold af conditions and they felt great, exactly what I was looking for in a shoe. Comfortable, roll easily through the stride, grippy and breatheable. All my shoes are purely for comfort from now on, I’m worth it 😤

What a great day for a longer run. 11k at an easy pace. Looks cold but was quite warm.

I’m really happy with my pace here, in a little bit faster run. I felt like I could have gone on for an hour more at least. Good progress these past few weeks.

First quick run in my new Zegama 2’s - these will be my rough trail shoes for this year. They feel really fun and bouncy and very planted on the trail - the grip is immense and there’s good insulation from the smaller stuff on the trail.

Waking up with 3/12 standing hours on my watch already done, because the children kept screaming for me == 👏👏👏😎😎😎

I got a great pair of running shoes the other day, Altra Torin 8. I have been wearing them for just daily errands etc. they feel so comfortable I’m tempted to use them for running, the zero drop is scaring me a bit though. Is it a bad idea to use them? I usually run in 8mm drop shoes.

I just signed up for my longest race yet, 26K trail race! It's in June so plenty of time to train. I've never ran any longer races than 10K and the furthest I've ever ran is about 19K so this will be a challenge. The height profile isn't too bad, I'll probably be fine 😅 #running #trailrunning

Hey #running #runsky I'm planning to do a couple of trail races this year and need new shoes for that. I have a pair of Nike Pegasus Trail 5 shoes that are pretty good but not particularly grippy, especially in technical terrain. I'd say if they had better grip I'd use them. What should I get??
